Minsan, yung apology na hinihintay mo, nakukuha mo years after you thought you no longer want it. Then once that moment comes, you realize na “Ahhh, ok rin pala. Kailangan ko pala siya”. Dumadating ito sa time na parehas kayong handang ibigay at tumanggap ng kapatawaran. And it feels so good to finally close that chapter of sadness. You feel better, lighter and happier. 🩷
Nagtititingin kasi ako ng photos. Umabot ako sa year 2015 and I saw this picture of me and my friend having coffee at this Vinyl coffee shop. Noong inaya niya ko, ang sabi lang niya ay catch up kasi kakauwi lang niya uli ng Pinas. Little did I know, he wanted to apologize as well. Tapos after that, catch up na talaga kasi nine years rin siyang walang paramdam.
It was a nice moment because my heart felt at peace. And up to now, we’re really good friends and hangout once or twice a year. ‘Pag hindi siya tinamad mag-reply sa grp chat. Lol.
May mga apologies na too late na para gawin sabi nga ng OneRepublic. Pero this one, perfect timing.
