Lo and behold, the birth of my first ever homemade muffin.
I am a cream cheese fanatic. Which is why I was sort of panicking and thinking why there was a cream cheese shortage these past few days. Wala sa aking favorite na suking grocery! Why oh why! I thought I would never be able to make this muffin EVER (Sige na, ako na ang O.A). After how many trips to different groceries, I finally have you in my basket Philadelphia cream cheese. You weren't my first choice really, but you'll do.
So I mixed the ingredients.. Scooped every batter in their respective cupcake liners.. Topped it with blueberry preserves.. Put the muffin tin in the oven & crossed my fingers with the hope that this wouldn't end up like a hockey puck.
15 minutes later, I was rewarded with a soft muffin. What surprised me was how sort of creamy it was. The blueberry preserves were truly a joy to eat! I think I want a cream cheese center though! Now I have to add this to my "Menu".
